A STRUCTURE FOR YOUR CHILDREN - AND FOR YOU
Many families in Lappis are not aware of a well organized and well tested premise offered by LOM: the family local. A serene and playful space, where children meet and play all the year long, together with their parents and a teacher. A cozy environment that is also available for the activities that Lappis tenants invent and organize.
The family local is an apartment-sized place, finely furnished and fully equipped. It includes an actual kitchen, good sofas and lots of toys. It is located in Professorsslingan 41 - right in front of the playground.
Completely free of charge, this structure is open on Monday afternoons and Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday mornings, and it is intended for children between one month and five years of age. A trained teacher, Gill, is always there to play and sing with them. As an opportunity for young parents, she regularly runs courses for infant massage. She has worked for more than ten years in this premise, and her warm and safe presence will help all children to interact with others.
The family local is not a pre-school, though: the presence of one of the parents is always required.
Outside the activity schedule, the local is always at disposal of the Lappis folk, in compliance with two simple rules: 1. silence after 22 pm; 2. no commercial activities are allowed. Beside that, the family local can be used as a "second house" to host large activities: it is perfect for children birthdays, but also dinners, parties, celebration, indoor markets, courses and trainings.
Invite who you wish: the local has tables, chairs and tableware for around 20 people. It holds a maximum of 48.
The price is minimal - 40 SEK. In addition to that, 200 SEK will be asked as a temporary deposit for the key.
